This hotel's location in the heart of downtown Amman is fantastic. You can easily walk to all the sights and immerse yourself in the real atmosphere of the city. The rooms, while basic, are clean and comfortable, with fans to keep you cool. Plus, having a balcony is a nice touch, allowing you to enjoy the lively city view.
No improvements needed - everything was just fine.

The location is Great! A few min walk away from Rome Theatre, there are many nice restaurant around including the famous Hashem Resto. The Staff speak good English and extremely friendly & helpful
The only downside is the noise from outside! Sleepless street! Light sleepers need earplugs!

The staff at Cliff hotel are amazing. Andrew, Faoud & George took amazing care to make sure that our experience in Amman was safe and enjoyable. Organising everything from local taxi's to tourist trips to Petra and Dead Sea. They showed us local businesses and places to eat and explained the prices we should be expected to pay, allowing us to better engage these local business without the feeling of being taken advantage of. I don't think we could find a better place in to stay.

Great location. Staff were friendly. Very cheap.
We stayed in a private room for one night. The beds were minimal...very old bed frames and mattresses. Despite some reviews stating there were bed bugs, we chose to stay there to give it a chance...but we were bitten by bed bugs too! I woke up with bites all over my body and so, despite the staff being friendly, I would recommend guests to NOT stay in this hotel until it has been given a good clean and re-furbishment.

The staff are the main advantage to the Cliff Hotel because they are approachable, have good language skills, and will help with virtually any problem. The price was a main draw from the beginning, as well as the sinks available in the rooms. The decor was an added bonus and the location was ideal because the surrounding area featured affordable dining. For travelers on a budget, the Cliff is wonderful.
Their sign should be bigger to make them more visible since the door is in an alley-way. I also believe they should make their door-frames stronger and their locks newer, even though I don't believe there is a great risk of theft. It would make other guests feel more secure. I say this to help them.

The prices at this hotel are the best in town, making it excellent value for money. The hotel's location in Downtown Amman is perfect for exploring the city's attractions on foot. The staff at this hotel are incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist no matter the time of day or night. The rooms are even better than they appear in the pictures, exceeding expectations in terms of comfort and cleanliness.
There is one minor aspect that could be improved at this hotel, but overall, everything was great.

I stayed at Cliff Hotel for two nights. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they even made us delicious Arabic coffee. The location is perfect - right in the heart of downtown, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, with warm blankets and hot water in the shower. The view from the rooftop terrace was amazing, especially during breakfast overlooking the citadel.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff, great location, very good price
Standard of cleanliness was low, bathroom and toilets hadn't been cleaned in months. Beds were very old, springs popping out everywhere, sheets old and smelly. Rooms smelt musty as they have sinks in each of them. It's hot and loud until 4am when shops beneath close.
